… the definitive guide for your Journey to the West
Be the Monkey King
If you think of how the book Journey to the West is laid out- a quest, with team mates, weapons, power-ups, and 81 trials, it’s as if the Journey to the West was begging to become a video game.
And I suppose this is as good a chance as can be to embody the Monkey King with all of Wii’s motion sensing capabilities.
I have the Wii, love it, but have not bought this game yet which came out in December 2008. It got pretty bad reviews (4.5 out of 10) from IGN, owing in large part to the cover art on the game being markedly different from what is used in the actual game.

Also, even though the game types- story mode or practicing to become a master is interesting, apparently the execution falls flat. So, I’m probably not going to be looking at this anytime soon. But for younger kids, they can’t seem to get enough of it.
